Brainfroot Productions was conceived in 1994 in Rochester, NY. Inspired by their love for electronic music and the desire to party, a group of DJ's collaborated to form Brainfroot: a company designed with the intent of hosting intimate underground dance music gatherings. With this vision in mind, the crew began presenting small private events in Boy Wonder's loft, formally referred to as 'The Crib', on Monroe Avenue in Rochester. With a few private events in their past, the move to the larger full scale public arenas began in 1995. It wasn't long before they were promoting events in such legendary venues as Heaven in Rochester and The State Theatre in Ithaca. To this day the company has had their hand in over 50+ events at indoor and outdoor venues all over upstate NY for 10 years in the running. Through time the size of the events began to grow, but the foundation of the Brainfroot Collective has always remained constant; to promote good music and intimate vibes. In recent years the Brainfroot family has grown to include many new artists and DJ's. They  continue to push the production envelope, offering diversity and new flavor at each of their events. Exposing listeners to new artists and fresh sounds is what the Brainfroot philosophy is all about.
